a satisfactory Stay
ample seating efficient room service breakfast selection wooded area
i was there for a brief getaway. The breakfast selection offered a good variety of options. i found the room service to be prompt and efficient, the staff delivered meals within a reasonable time. the hotel grounds included a pleasant patio area with ample seating. i noticed some nice wooded areas were nearby, good for a peaceful walk.
the room overlooked the parking area and some views were obstructed.

ample parking spaces was available . a restaurant provided dinner service. the bar offered a selection of drinks, including aspall cider which the friendly bar staff served in a nice glass.

my ground floor room faced the garden. it had spacious and clean conditions. L'occitane toiletries were provided. a comfy bed ensured i slept well at NIGHT.

all staff encountered were very nice and polite. the staff brought breakfast out within 20 minutes despite the large group. one gentleman on reception at check in was very accommodating and found the right room for me.

the premises had large fields and wooded areas. there is a horse riding school next door. the hotel is near water. i think the hotel location is good with the surrounding AREAS.

dirty wardrobe rail usb port
the setting was lovely meeting expectations
the rooms were quite basic i stayed in a supposed superior room i found a stain on the carpet i also saw marks on the nets and the inside wardrobe rail was dirty a usb port was absent too

slow service food quality
the shower was good there was a great water pressure.
my room was not properly cleaned after the previous guest there were hairs in the bathroom. the staff seemed understaffed at breakfast the service was slow. the food quality did not justify the price i paid for the meal.

fantastic stay
birthday balloons lovely lunch comfortable room superb dinner
The team were really good with birthday balloons and a happy birthday plate for a staff member, i think that shows real care (very thoughtful!). our working lunches were lovely and the canapés were delicious for our pre-dinner drinks. i had a spacious, comfortable room. breakfast and dinner were superb. The pork chop with black pudding was a show stopper.

ground floor garden view excellent food noisy fan kitchen alternative room
I was pleased with my room. the ground floor room had a nice view facing the garden. the restaurant food also impressed me. The monkfish was particularly good.
I found the noise level problematic. The kitchen fan was unbelievably noisy. the persistent clunking from kitchen staff also continued late into the evening. I was not offered an alternative room.
